The Project

With nearly 80 sites across the South Island, NPD Fuel is expanding its network throughout the North Island, including this recent site in Palmerston North.

The Requirement

During the installation of the fuel tanks onsite, there was a need for dewatering the excavation area and treating the groundwater to a suitable standard to discharge directly to the stormwater network.

The Solution

PSL approached Condor to supply a turn-key water treatment and drainage package to assist with meeting the council discharge consent requirements.

Water samples were taken from the site and tested by Condor prior to specifying the correct chemical and dosing rates for our water treatment system.

The Result

The Water Treatment System and Pump were delivered to the site, and Condor staff oversaw the commissioning of the system.

The result was PSL kept within their water quality discharge consent requirements, and yet again Condor helped the environment one litre at a time.
