When a slip on Paekākāriki Hill Road created urgent safety concerns around road instability, Porirua City Council needed a swift and effective solution. The project's success has been recognised with SBA Civil securing the Civil Contractors Project of the Year award (valued under $600,000). They delivered this complex repair ahead of schedule in just 13 days, despite multiple rain events, while maintaining single-lane traffic access throughout.
